Pictet has had an office in Zurich since 1982 and currently employs more than 200 people there. The Zurich office is located in the Leuenhof, one of the most iconic buildings on the prestigious Bahnhofstrasse.
As HR Officer, you will assist the Head of HR and the HRBP of the HR Zurich team, by coordinating and administering recruitment activities and providing HR administrative support.
Your role
Recruitment coordination:
• Prepare and publish job advertisements (internally and externally).
• Conduct a preliminary analysis of the applications received and liaise with the hiring managers for dissemination and follow-up.
• Contact applicants and schedule interviews either directly or via our partners (head-hunters, recruitment agencies).
• Send responses to applicants.
• Establish employment contracts and manage the onboarding of new joiners, autonomously in Switzerland, and in close collaboration with our local HR Teams in other regions.
HR administrative support:
• Ensure the administrative follow-up of employee files (start dates, schedule for trial periods, transfers, departures, drafting career biographies for long-service anniversaries, coordination with HR management).
• Prepare and submit the required documents to the registration office.
• Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and the maintenance of HR data information/dashboards and budget tracking, etc.
• Draft employment references (in English and German).
• Manage the Head of HR’s and the HRBP’s diaries by scheduling appointments, taking phone calls, as well as performing various administrative tasks (writing routine correspondence and filing documents).
• Contribute to various projects to improve or develop the HR processes.
• Occasionally provide general support to managers on global HR processes or questions such as yearly appraisals, objective settings, talent reviews, trainings, etc.).
Events coordination:
• Organise, coordinate and participate in different Campus recruiting events in various German-Speaking Universities in Switzerland, in coordination with the Campus Relationship Officer.
• Plan and coordinate HR related inhouse events for the Zurich office.
Your profile
• A minimum of three years' experience working in a recruiting firm or as an HR Officer role in a fast pace and demanding environment; HR assistant certificate would be an asset.
• Knowledge of the banking industry/interest in financial services would be an asset.
• Excellent organisational skills, a sense of rigor and attention to detail.
• Strong client service skills and keen sense of empathy.
• Excellent communication skills: an ability to interact with varied and exacting interlocutors in an international and multicultural environment.
• Proactivity and ability to work independently and quickly.
• Discretion and respecting confidentiality.
• German or English native speaker, with a perfect command of the other language both orally and in writing. French language would be a plus.
• Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
• Previous experience working with standard IT applications.
• Must be resident in Switzerland.
