Automation Engineer
As an Automation Engineer, you will be the driving force behind the development of cutting-edge automation systems. Your role encompasses a wide range of tasks, including design and planning, programming, and cost estimation. You will collaborate with customers and suppliers to create innovative solutions that exceed industry standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Design and conceptualize sophisticated automation systems and applications for clients in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors.
* Estimate costs for systems and services, and contribute to the preparation of proposals.
* Handle hardware and software engineering, including configuration and programming for control and visualization systems.
* Test and commission the developed systems.
* Create detailed project, design, and test documentation.
* Qualify applications and systems.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers during project implementation and support.
Your Expertise:
* A degree in automation, systems engineering, or a related field, combined with technical training.
* Substantial experience programming PLC controllers, SCADA, or process control systems, preferably with SIMATIC S7, WinCC, or PCS7.
* Familiarity with server and network infrastructure.
* Knowledge of GMP project implementation in the pharmaceutical industry (qualification according to GAMP 5).
* A customer-centric approach.
* Proficiency in both English and German.
