Data Analyst (50-100%, all genders), Kloten Job Description: As a Data Analyst, you will shift the boundaries of SWISS’ data capabilities and take a pivotal role in advising SWISS’ senior management. Join us and bring data-driven decision-making to the next level!
Responsibilities: Leverage data to uncover insights and opportunities for our SWISS’ Operations Planning & Steering team and beyond
Create data visualizations, reporting and interactive dashboards, prepare business cases and scenario calculations
Create insightful analysis to help quantify key drivers to optimize SWISS’ operational performance
Continuously develop and enhance operational data landscape to improve data quality & support automation
Recommend and implement best practices for data & advanced analytics (esp. predictive analytics)
Work closely with Operations Planning & Steering departments and effectively communicate data insights to appropriate stakeholders
Promote an innovative data culture across our company
Requirements: Degree in an analytical subject, e.g. data science, engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related fields
Experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Excellent SQL coding skills, good command of at least one programming language (R or Python preferred)
Strong analytical capabilities: Excellent data manipulation, data analysis and data interpretation skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, esp. Excel & PPT
Data science and/or data engineering experience is a big advantage
Excellent oral and written presentation skills; must be competent at writing and illustrating analyses and presentations
Ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization
Team-player with strong communication and social skills
