We are seeking a Junior Sales Trader to join our sales team in Zurich, Switzerland.
Pareto Securities is an independent investment bank with a leading position in the Nordic capital markets. We have a strong international presence and a global placing power for primary and secondary transactions.
Our sales desk has a global reach to an investor network built over more than three decades and consists of over 120 sales professionals across our offices.
You will be part of the sales team in Zurich, focusing on high yield corporate bonds. As a sales trader, you will execute trades and match interests between investors.
Key Responsibilities
* Work alongside the fixed income sales team, assisting the sales desk with a client-oriented approach.
* Support trading & execution – primary (new issues) & secondary market flow.
* Keep track of current trading interests and update them as needed.
* Establish, maintain, and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients.
* Be proactive and generate value-added ideas for customers and colleagues.
* Possibility to develop your own customer portfolio of institutional investors, asset managers, family offices, hedge funds, private banks, and/or high net worth individuals.
Qualifications
* A driven and highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A fundamental understanding and interest in the capital markets.
* Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
* Motivation and self-drive are valued higher than experience.
* A Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, finance or other business-related fields is preferred unless the candidate already has years of experience in the financial industry.
* Language skills: English required, any other language a plus.
