What you will enjoy doing
* As our Senior Finance Systems & Process Manager Germany, you will be entrusted with setup, management, and collaboration in projects in Finance, Controlling, and Accounting.
* The project teams will be multidisciplinary with members from IT, Finance, Contract Management, and the operative business units in Germany, collaborating on new implementations, optimization, digitalization, and automation of systems/tools, processes, and reports for Finance.
* Working in these projects, you will cover all areas of project management, including functional process analysis, design & documentation, reporting on status, planning, risks & mitigation towards the Steering Committees, as well as training and change management.
* You will act as the single point of contact regarding Accounting master data and its quality management, as well as the SAP module FI/CO, also in the context of SAP S/4HANA implementation.
* In close collaboration, you will consult all Accounting departments regarding preparation, evaluation, and documentation of functional requirements and their technical implications.
* You will be the main speaking partner for Linde IT, Sales & Procurement on problems and their implications on existing Finance & Accounting processes and interfaces.
* In a strategic partnership, you will collaborate with the operating business units in Germany, Region Europe West, and EMEA on Best Practice solutions, as well as implementation of future applications/processes in the area of Finance and Accounting.
* You will be able to collect, interpret, and use data effectively, driving digital transformation.
What makes you great
* You possess a university diploma in Business Economics, Business Application Management, or a comparable degree with additional qualification in SAP environment or web-based applications.
* You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the fields of Business Process/Business Application Management, ideally coupled with experience as Management/IT Consultant or Process Consultant, and know-how in Agile/SCRUM project management methodology.
* You have several years of experience in leading small project teams or taking on disciplinary leadership roles.
* You enjoy acting as a facilitator between the finance teams and business partners, preparing and communicating complex processes and facts while balancing the varying interests of individual stakeholders.
* You are an expert in SAP FI/CO and have a good knowledge of SAP modules MM and SD, focusing on their integration with SAP FI/CO.
* Your proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote) is combined with an understanding of/experience in process modeling (e.g., MS Visio, ARIS).
* You are proactive, self-motivated, and can anticipate and move quickly between diverse demands, enjoying working on innovative, creative solutions with changing teams.
* You possess an excellent command of English and the ability to communicate, both written and spoken, in German.
* You are willing to engage in regional travel (Germany/Europe West – up to 20%).
