Sales Account Manager - Amazon (EMEA Headquarters)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to develop and implement our sales strategy on Amazon in Europe. As the primary point of contact, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve significant market share growth across all Wellness & Beauty categories.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy & Business Expansion
o Develop new business opportunities to maximize short and long-term profit potential
o Implement commercial strategies to gain revenue
o Define portfolio optimization, category growth, and analysis
o Work with cross-functional teams to build a 3-year development growth plan with Amazon
o Participate in the Global account team and lead strategy within existing accountabilities
o Ensure improvement projects with logistics experts
o Lead conversations on business models for hybrid markets (MEA) and direct imports
* Account Management
o Negotiate and build relationships with vendors as a vendor manager and brand specialist
o Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet Amazon sales equations
o Steer digital sales tools with appropriate teams to improve sales on Amazon
o Manage Vendor Central expertise, including prices, ARA, order intake, EDI implementation, agreements, chargeback management, Vine, etc.
o Activation plans and promotional planning with digital marketing and demand teams
o Develop ROI dashboards to ensure incrementality and profitability for promotions, events, and AMS
* Supply Chain & Logistics
o Forecasting and owning unit forecast working directly with demand teams
o Liaising with supply chain and Amazon InStock managers on product forecast to anticipate demands and peak periods
* Tracking & Support Director of Sales
o Reporting on pre-defined KPIs (invoice sales, trade, ACM)
o Presenting and implementing gap-closing initiatives
o Tracking price enforcement in the market across 1P-3P
Requirements
* University degree or comparable commercial education with at least 7+ years' experience in Account Management within international FMCG or CE, preferably A-brands
* Proven track record managing retailers
* Excellent knowledge of the retail scene
* Flexibility to work in a small yet fast-growing organization with strong analytical and detail-oriented thinking
