On behalf of our Swiss partner we are seeking a warm and responsible Spanish-speaking junior nanny for a lovely family living in a residential in a truly stunning area near Kreuzlingen in the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland. This location is close to Germany, the Bodensee, and Konstanz, with excellent public transport links within a 10-minute walk of their home and a car provided by the family.
The family has two daughters: a 7-year-old who attends school and a 2-year-old who goes to daycare. They are looking for someone with a driving licence to help with school and daycare drop-offs and pick-ups (car provided by the family), as well as taking the children to activities such as dance and swimming classes. The family wants the nanny to be able to speak Spanish to the girls to develop their Spanish linguistic skills.
The proposed schedule is 25–30 hours per week, Monday to Friday live in accommodation with your own private room and bathroom. You will work mornings from 7:00 to 9:00 am to help prepare the children for school and daycare and then drop them off. After tidying up and doing light household tasks, you will have free time until midday, when you pick up the children (at 12:00 or 2:00 pm, depending on the day) and care for them until 5:00 pm. Weekends are free, and you are also off on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00 am. The family often travels on weekends, and while you are welcome to join them, it is entirely your choice.
The family is looking for someone who loves spending time with young children, enjoys outdoor activities such as visiting parks and playgrounds, and has fun engaging with them. They value punctuality, responsibility, reliability, and clear communication. They offer a private room and bathroom and will pay for additional hours if needed.
