The Position
The centralized treasury department in Basel ensures optimal financing and appropriate liquidity of the Group and its affiliates. It is responsible for managing the financial assets and liabilities for the entire Roche Group.
Within the treasury department, the Treasury Operations team manages the Roche InHouse Bank with a variety of banking services for the affiliates. The Team is responsible for master data maintenance and transaction processing on the global treasury SAP system.
In this team, your key role and responsibilities will include:
1. Processing in-house and third-party bank transactions (like money market, securities, derivatives and FX deals, for Roche’s global affiliates).
2. Creating and maintaining master data in the global SAP system and supporting the centralized month-end close process as well as will also be part of the job.
3. Assisting the team with their ongoing projects and eventually leading on treasury related projects (new regulations, integration to other finance areas, automation of processes)
Who you are:
You are enrolled or have completed your Master's studies at a university or technical college, preferably in the field of Finance and/or Accounting or related fields within the last 12 months and are interested to apply your knowledge in a modern work environment and get to know the pharmaceutical industry during an internship.
In addition, you bring the following skills:
4. Good team player and self-motivator
5. Eager to learn new knowledge and able to apply it quickly
6. Flexibility to take over special assignments besides the daily work task
7. Excellent English & German skills (both written & spoken)
8. Excellent MS Office knowledge, especially Excel
This position is also suitable for candidates who are required to undertake a mandatory 12-month internship as part of their studies.
