Job Title: Quality Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to join our Supply Chain team in Galgenen, Switzerland.
As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our finished products meets company requirements and applicable regulations.
You will lead a team of 3-6 people who strive for excellence and are passionate about directing, planning, and coordinating compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
Your key responsibilities include:
* Executing self-evaluations based on GMP & GDP regulations in Distribution Centers and leading improvement projects.
* Establishing and managing a Quality team.
* Managing non-conformances noticed on products stored in Distribution Center.
* Coordinating inspections in case of Quality issues or nonconformances, reporting findings and determining final decisions.
* Ensuring sampling process is managed appropriately in cases of Quality defects and need of further investigations.
* Taking independent decisions related to the team in Quality matters.
* Ensuring Quality training is conducted and systems are implemented taking into account ELC requirements.
* Assisting in recall activities when applicable.
* Ensuring company goals are achieved within the Travel Retail Region and supporting long-term vision of Quality for Distribution.
* Ensuring GMP & GDP compliance and implementation of Quality processes in all Distribution Centers.
* Establishing GMP processes for Rework Value Added Services and Late Stage Differentiation by setting standards to define product disposition.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field of study.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Quality with cosmetic, food or pharmaceutical products or other regulated industries.
* Familiarity with GMP & GDP regulations including internal auditing skills and applicable Cosmetic / OTC Regulations.
* Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills.
* Fluency in English written and orally, German is a benefit minimum B1 and any other European language is a plus.
* Broad and open-minded with a sense of responsibility.
* An eye for detail and improvement and is an initiator.
* Thinks strategically.
* Pursues project management and Risk Management skills.
* Possesses knowledge of Health Canada, FDA and CSAR requirements is a benefit.
