We are now seeking a Managing Director & Partner – Pharmaceutical Engineering Services to join our headquarters in Zug, Switzerland. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the direction of a thriving organization dedicated to excellence in the pharmaceutical sector.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. As Managing Director & Partner, you will have strategic and operational responsibility for the company, driving business development in Pharmaceutical Engineering.
2. Oversee all operational and commercial processes, from acquiring new projects to ensuring successful execution and customer satisfaction.
3. Leverage your existing network to expand the business and strengthen Callista's market position in the pharmaceutical industry.
4. Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration across departments.
5. Develop long-term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support the company’s growth.
6. Define and implement strategies for growth, profitability, and market expansion.
7. Achieve location turnover and net profit targets, with full Profit and Loss responsibility.
8. Lead recruitment activities and manage a team of Consultants, Recruiters, and Sales Support staff.
9. Act as a mentor to direct reports, ensuring effective team development.
10. Ensure business operations comply with best practices and current legislation.
11. Provide detailed management reports and insights as required.
12. Negotiate commercial contracts with customers and ensure the delivery of best-in-class service.
13. Implement and execute a comprehensive Business Development and Sales Strategy.
14. Identify staffing needs, issues, and opportunities.
Your Key Tasks:
1. Maintain regular contact with customers to secure future inquiries and ensure satisfaction with their placements.
2. Collaborate with the Life Sciences team at Callista BV in the Netherlands to drive business initiatives.
3. Ensure Recruitment Specialists meet their targets and objectives.
4. Attend and chair board meetings, conducting monthly feedback sessions with team members.
5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
6. Maintain cost control and ensure budget adherence.
Your Profile:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, complemented by extensive work experience in Pharmaceutical Engineering and contracting, preferably in a leadership role.
2. Established and relevant network within the Swiss pharmaceutical industry, with proven ability to drive business development.
3. Commercially driven mindset with a strategic and operational approach to achieving sustainable success.
4. Strong willingness to take full responsibility and accountability while demonstrating entrepreneurial thinking and decisive action.
5. Fluency in German and excellent command of English are essential requirements.
