The Power Unit is designed in Neuburg, while Hinwil takes care of chassis development and race operations. As part of this ambitious project, you'll be pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Your Mission
* Lead the team responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of driver-in-loop simulators as a crucial component of the DIL simulator group.
* Plan and execute projects to enhance the fidelity, realism, functionality, and performance of the simulator.
* Design and develop motion cueing and other driver feedback systems that simulate real-world racing experiences.
* Develop and manage simulator peripheral systems, including audio and visual components, cockpit environments, and data analysis tools.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to prepare and perform experiments and tests in the simulator, ensuring seamless integration with other simulation models and tools.
* Support simulator test sessions and contribute to collaborative activities within the Simulator and Vehicle Performance teams.
Your Profile
* Hold a high-quality degree (Master or PhD) in a relevant scientific field (Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics).
* Prior experience in management or team leadership is an advantage.
* Demonstrate extensive expertise in simulator engineering, particularly in simulator development, with experience in F1 or high-level motorsports being beneficial.
* Showcase proficiency in simulation, including real-time applications, preferably in automotive and/or motorsport domains.
* Harness your skills in system modeling using tools like MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C++, or C#, with expert level competence in several of these tools.
* Earned recognition for your ability to motivate and guide a team.
* Maintain attention to detail while approaching challenges pragmatically and scientifically.
* Proficiency in German or English is essential, with a willingness to learn the corresponding language at a basic level.
