About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality standards and ensure the continued success of our research programs.
Core Duties
1. Quality Assurance Programs: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
3. Staff Training: Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance practices.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate with study directors, principal investigators, and facility managers to ensure that all research activities meet quality and regulatory requirements.
5. Documentation: Manage and maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and external auditors.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices and implement necessary updates.
8. Culture Development: Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the Centre.
Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related field; a degree in Quality management, a Master's degree or higher is an advantage.
2. Experience: Proven experience in quality assurance.
3. GLP Principles: Experience with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles is an advantage.
4. Management: Proven management experience in complex structures.
5. Communication: Goal-oriented and have excellent communication skills.
6. Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
7. Languages: Proficiency in English; German would be an advantage.
