Research & Development (R&D) delivers hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people, hearing care professionals, and further related people, in the form of hearing devices, accessories, mobile applications, and PC software.
In this role, where systems are highly interconnected and interoperability is essential, success depends on ensuring well-defined system components, clearly outlined interfaces, and reusable test results, all achieved with a high degree of automation.
Your tasks
* Develop and implement a structured methodology for documenting software components
* Train and mentor software component teams on writing clear, reusable, and compliant specifications
* Ensure software components are aligned with regulatory standards and can be reused in future projects
* Collaborate with Requirements Engineers and Managers to ensure consistency and reuse of existing documentation across products and domains
* Facilitate communication and understanding between stakeholders from service operations, business, engineering, verification, and quality teams to gather and align requirements for internal tools
* Write, refine, and maintain detailed requirements for internal tools
* Contribute to the planning and development of new functionalities and features for internal tools
* Play an active role in agile development teams, participating in team rituals and promoting cross-functional collaboration
Your profile
* Engineering degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline), or equivalent education (higher technical school)
* Further education or training in Requirements or Systems Engineering, (ASEP, IREB) is a plus
* 2+ years of experience in engineering, software development and documentation processes preferably in an industrial / production environment
* Experience with Gherkin specification language or Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a plus
* Familiar with lean and agile work methodologies
* Proficient with abstractions and conceptual modelling and solution oriented with strong problem-solving skills
* Able to collaborate and communicate well across geographical, cultural and language borders
* Assertive and able to influence without hierarchical authority and willing to take on responsibility and ownership
* Strong command in English, German language skills are an advantage
