Overall Mission
As a proactive change agent, this role is pivotal in leading the transformation towards best-in-class utilities and maintenance processes. The Regional Utilities and Maintenance Manager will oversee a multi-site, multi-technology environment, driving optimum performance in utilities and maintenance to deliver value improvements and sustainability impacts.
This includes ensuring availability, efficiency, safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness, in alignment with the organization’s sustainability goals.
This position reports to the BP Eng AMERICAS F&B & Global F&B Coord. and has a dotted line to the Global Maintenance Lead .

Main Responsibilities
Site OPS Governance with Global Support
Manage Maturity assessment for Maintenance and Utilities (Sustainability Chapter) and associated recommendations
Support the development and delivery of annual value case initiatives and opportunities
Develop regional roadmap, aligned with global strategy and site/business requirements
Support and follow-up with energy and water best practices, good maintenance practices, and share learnings with sites
Provide site updates to pipeline project database and support annual utilities and maintenance budget process
Provide training to site team in best practices, standards and available solutions/tools, leverage CoE Academy
Support the performance management of OEE
Support and track Standard deployment (EHS, Quality, Sustainability…)
Conduct internal and external benchmarks for Utilities and Maintenance
Participate in the Strategy Deployment process for respective scope
Sustainability
Attend quarterly regional sustainable OPS meeting (w/Regional OPS heads, Sust, IM&S, Controlling)
Support Sustainable Operations and Givaudan Sustainability ambitions
Provide support during annual site KPI target validation process and measurement capabilities
Onsite support for initiatives
Provide support to project managers on projects that impact utility and maintenance tools, systems and processes (new, existing upgrades) and contribute to digitalisation of operations
Support site master plan, CO2 master plans, as needed
Support STMS, gap, CIMA, EHS, Quality and Utilities site assessments.
Support sites to develop Long Term Asset Replacement plan for utilities and maintenance
Ad-hoc participation in complex problem-solving workshops (efficiency, debottlenecking, Recurring Quality issue, Crisis)
Academic Background
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent certification
Languages
Professional Experience:
• At least 10 years in operations, maintenance, utilities systems, lean & TPM environment
• Sound knowledge of food and chemical processing industry
• Solid record in change management within diverse cultures and organization maturity, multi-discipline specialists (internal and external)
• Certified Energy Manager and/or Certified Energy Auditor a plus

Expertise
• Proficiency in world-class manufacturing concepts (LEAN, TPM, WCM) and utilities systems
• Knowledge in manufacturing processes
• Green Belt (advantage)
