sia Abrasives Industries AG, based in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, is part of the Bosch Group and a leading manufacturer of abrasives worldwide. We develop, manufacture, and market a wide range of abrasives solutions for industrial, commercial, and DIY applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* You'll be responsible for quality management tasks during new product development projects.
* You'll contribute to building expertise and understanding to ensure products meet reliability standards.
* Deviation management and problem-solving, including concessions and 8D processes, are also part of your duties.
* Your tasks will involve analyzing customer complaints, identifying TRCs (Technical Root Cause) and MRCs (Managerial Root Cause), as well as managing related deviations.
* You'll collect customer feedback and market trends, such as application profiles, misuse, external failure costs, and perceived quality, in close cooperation with our global quality organization. You'll provide input for engineering changes or new product developments.
* Informing our Purpose Teams about product quality is a critical aspect of this role.
Required Qualifications:
* Education: University degree in engineering or equivalent qualification; further training in quality assurance is an advantage.
* Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality management.
* Know-how: Knowledge of quality methods, tools, and processes (e.g., FMEAs, risk analysis, Quality Function Deployment); experience in statistical test planning and evaluation; knowledge of product development processes and life cycle management; familiarity with legal quality requirements (e.g., CDQs).
* Working style: High sense of responsibility, strong customer focus, and problem-solving skills.
* Personality: Team player, determined, and assertive.
* Languages: Fluent in English and German is a must; any additional language is a plus.
