Job Description
As Brand Account Manager in Oncology you are responsible for driving sales and promoting the new AbbVie Oncology Brand mainly in the Western, French and German part of Switzerland. You understand customer’s needs and adapt them accordingly, guide customers to the solution and agree on necessary steps towards it. You are the main commercial executor of the brand strategy in the In-Field Team and continuously strive to gain market insights, proactively transferring relevant insights back to the Oncology Team.
Key responsibilities:
Customer Selling and Relationship / Project Management:
Achieve and exceed sales and units targets in the assigned territory
Proactively and continuously aspire to identify and serve customer needs in a win-win approach
Plan and evaluate sales calls, using evidence-based medicine arguments and visual sales aids
Analyze sales reports and field intelligence, seeking business opportunities and deploying value-adding solutions
Develop engagement and journey plans for key customers across multiple channels
Market Knowledge Development & Network:
Develop and maintain in-depth disease, product, market and competitive intelligence expertise
Foster own network within the community and constantly seek opportunities to grow existing accounts and open new ones
Territory Management in French and German speaking Switzerland:
Continuously analyze sales reports and field intelligence as Manager of the territory
Accurately identify customer position on the sales cycle; effectively target and track resources to maximize sales opportunities
Adhere to industry and AbbVie compliance requirements while managing the territory in mainly French, but also in German speaking Switzerland
Qualifications
Primary degree in science/nursing/healthcare
Fluent in French, German & English
Preferred +3 years of experience in sales in the pharmaceutical industry
Network in gynecologic oncology (preferred) or in solid tumors
High customer orientation
In-depth market, product, therapeutic, competitive and scientific knowledge
Proficiency in the use of business tools e.g. ETMS (electronic territory management system CRM), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams), etc.
Experience in cross-functional collaboration and omnichannel communication
Project management experience & skills
