We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in driving growth and customer satisfaction. Join our team as a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with a passion for both sales and marketing.
How you’ll make an impact
- Supervising tender management of the GIS product line and devising complete offers
- Functionally leading our global sales operations team and other relevant functions to ensure full consistency of the offers (technical and commercial)
- Leading the technical and commercial negotiations on behalf of the GIS factory
- Performing risk reviews and setting up cost calculations
- Teaming up with the High Voltage HUB Europe sales & marketing community to effectively position the GIS portfolio in Europe.
- Assuming responsibility for an allocated region as the primary contact person for all GIS sales-related questions
- Preparing production forecasts and providing support in preparing sales key figures (budget)
- Holding customer workshops, sales trainings, and participating in trade fairs
Your background
- Professional experience in technical sales, project management, product management, key account management or similar areas of expertise
- Degree (Bachelor/Master) in a technical/engineering discipline and, ideally further qualification in business administration
- Confidence on all customer levels and proven experience in the energy industry or manufacturing and/or system business (product know-how in the field of substations and/or switchgear desirable)
- Entrepreneurial mindset, assertiveness, and ability to convince.
- Understanding of customers and sales channels
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills
- Eager to develop yourself, support your peers, and our customers
- Availability to travel
