To join our Life Sciences team in Vaud, we are looking for a Project Engineering Lead profile in the Engineering, Sites & Facilities department.
The candidate will work on various projects, including the following:
* Electrical reinforcement of the pharma building
* Revamping of the pharma building's logistics area
The project:
* Partner with engineering firms to secure the necessary support for project design and execution.
* Define the best solutions to meet customer needs in collaboration with leadership.
* Manage costs and plan all project activities.
* Oversee Concept, Basic, and Detailed design phases as well as execution.
* Identify all required resources, avoiding gaps or overlaps.
* Handle project governance and control budgets in alignment with PMO requirements.
* Supervise the project team and ensure efficient coordination.
* Consolidate and review technical specifications (e.g., URS, Technical Specifications).
* Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and project teams.
* Facilitate collaboration among all parties involved to ensure engagement and seamless two-way communication.
Your profile:
* Bachelor/Master in Engineering field (chemical, biotechnology) or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in projects of different scale and complexity in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment.
* Strong commitment to values and best practices sharing.
* Experience in managing complex projects, including EPC and EPCM contracting models.
* Leadership and coordination skills, both formal and informal, across functional areas.
* Proven ability to manage internal and external resources within a matrix organization.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
* Strong technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to risk management.
* Full professional proficiency in French and English (oral and written).
