About the Role
* We are seeking an experienced Facilities and Production Environment Manager to oversee building and equipment maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
* The successful candidate will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety and emergency procedures.
* This role involves managing facility budgets and costs, as well as coordinating with building owners, contractors, and vendors for maintenance and repairs.
Main Responsibilities
1. Oversee building and equipment maintenance, repairs, and renovations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety and emergency procedures.
3. Manage facility budgets and costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
4. Coordinate with building owners, contractors, and vendors for maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
5. Develop and implement strategies to maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting employee safety and productivity.
6. Identify and assess potential risks to the facility and production operations, implementing measures to mitigate these risks.
7. Manage waste disposal and environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
8. Promote a positive and healthy work environment, fostering collaboration and open communication among team members.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals, providing expertise and guidance as needed.
What Makes You Successful
* Experience working in facilities or utilities management, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
* Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing suppliers.
* Capacity to lead projects and solve complex problems, often working under tight deadlines.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
Requirements
* Master's degree or senior technician with a minimum of 6 years of confirmed experience in facilities or utilities management.
* Industrial experience working in a GMP compliant setting is highly desirable.
