In this role, the Construction Manager will offer expertise in construction management and oversee the execution of construction projects. Key responsibilities encompass the entire construction management life cycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Responsibilities
1. Coordinate service providers, suppliers, and material flows
2. Manage company-owned works and coordinate with the EPCM company for Mechanical, Electrical, and Ductwork
3. Lead external planning teams and construction companies outside the EPCM scope
4. Ensure smooth construction flow and site organization with the EPCM
5. Verify compliance with planning specifications, regulations, and building standards
6. Collaborate with other Construction Managers to assess project impacts
7. Negotiate with suppliers and procurement as needed
8. Improve the Construction Management and Health and Safety Plans with the EPCM
9. Generate weekly reports and lookaheads with the EPCM
10. Achieve project objectives for cost, deadlines, quality, and safety
11. Maintain knowledge of installation and construction standards
12. Oversee 3D Coordination Building Information Model (BIM) for clash resolution
13. Ensure quality checks of materials and construction execution
14. Support construction testing and complete test documentation
15. Review Contractor Turnover Documentation for accuracy and resolve issues
16. Implement a safety culture to achieve Zero Lost Time Incidents with the EPCM Safety Team
Candidate Profile
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil, Architecture, Mechanical, or a related engineering field
2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
3. Experience with large industrial construction projects
4. Proven track record in managing pharmaceutical construction projects and adhering to GDP standards
5. Proficient in Navis Works 3D Building Information Management (BIM) software
6. Familiarity with project scheduling
7. Knowledge of clean and black utility requirements in the biopharmaceutical sector
8. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
9. Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
10. Understanding of mechanical completion and turnover procedures
11. Languages: Fluent in German (C1), English B1
