Rockwell Automation is hiring!
We are looking for a Account Manager OEM to be based in our Swiss Sales office in Aarau.
In this customer-facing sales role, you will liaise and build relationships with our customers' executive management teams to meet or exceed allocated sales targets across a broad range of industrial software, power control, and process control solutions. Your competitive advantage and success will be achieved by leveraging Rockwell Automation's key areas of innovation and differentiation, our Smart Manufacturing, digitalization technologies, and our Connected Enterprise integrated architecture.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships at assigned and prospect OEM Accounts.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned accounts through disciplined planning and sales execution processes.
2. Lead the relevant stakeholders, internal and partners in the execution of every tactical action in pursuit of the strategic objectives defined in the Account Plans.
3. Spend at least 70% of time in customer-facing activities.
4. Analyze current business levels against allocated sales targets and provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales forecasts to the Sales Leader OEM.
5. Stay current on industry trends, competitors, market drivers, and RA offerings.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
1. Degree in Business, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Good knowledge in OEM industry (F&B, LS, CPG, Automotive, and Renewables).
3. Experience in a machine builder environment, involved in the management or delivery of solution-based outcomes.
4. Minimum of 5 years of outcome-based solutions selling experience.
5. Digitalization Software experience will be an added advantage - Cloud Solutions, Data Platform, Edge Solution, etc.
The Preferred Skill Set - You Might Have:
1. Passion for sales.
2. Strong collaboration and adapting to economic culture in order to manage our selling model.
3. Experience in establishing communication and engagement with clients.
4. Demonstrated ability to comfortably interact with our customers' C-Suite.
5. Sales-Hunter and a team player.
