As we scale, we are looking for a Head of Business Development to help structure our sales processes, manage client relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role is a hybrid between sales operations, client success, and business development—perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and relationship management. Key Responsibilities Sales Process Setup & Optimization Design and implement a structured, repeatable sales process that aligns with our VC-focused research and investment solutions. Develop and refine lead qualification criteria to ensure we engage high-value prospects. Work closely with internal teams (investment, product, and marketing) to align sales efforts with business goals. Set up and optimize CRM tools, automation, and reporting systems to track pipeline performance. Business Development & Revenue Growth Identify and engage VC firms, institutional investors, and other potential clients who would benefit from Arcanis’ intelligence platform. Develop tailored sales strategies for different investor profiles, from large VC funds to niche investment firms. Conduct market research to refine our outreach and positioning in the venture capital space. Help define pricing models and sales collateral to support client acquisition. Client Relationship Management & Retention Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients, ensuring they fully understand and maximize the value of our data and reports. Onboard new clients and provide strategic guidance on how Arcanis Intelligence can support their investment decisions. Act as a feedback loop between clients and product teams to refine offerings and improve user experience. Proactively identify expansion opportunities with existing clients and implement upsell/cross-sell strategies. Reporting & Performance Tracking Monitor key sales and client success metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making. Regularly report on pipeline health, conversion rates, and client engagement trends. Work with leadership to forecast revenue growth and refine sales strategies accordingly. What We’re Looking For 5+ years in a sales operations, business development, or client relationship role, ideally in a VC, investment, or fintech environment. Strong understanding of venture capital, financial services, or AI-powered data solutions. Experience in setting up and optimizing sales processes and CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.). Excellent relationship-building skills and a client-first mindset. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
