Join our Financial and Regulatory Reporting cell, where you will become a key member of Partners Group's Financial Reporting team.
We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our Financial Reporting Team based in Zug. In this role, you will support the team in the coordination of the global product audits, preparation of financial statements, and managing reporting duties for investors and financial institutions. Working closely as a team that's based in both Zug and Manila, you will engage with various internal and external stakeholders in a global setting on various financial reporting technical topics and while providing external audit support.
Key areas of the role include:
Manage the accurate, timely production, and review of financial statements by external service providers in alignment with IFRS, US GAAP, and Lux GAAP, including preparation of note disclosures, while also acting as a subject matter expert in certain accounting technical topics.
Oversee technical tools supporting notes disclosures.
Active collaboration with audits, as well as diverse internal and external stakeholders across the globe to facilitate audit coordination and ensure timely approval of financial statements.
Support internal and external client communication.
Contribute to ongoing projects for process, system, and control enhancements.
What we expect
The typical candidate should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Applicants should have at least 4 years of financial services experience, preferably with comprehensive technical knowledge of reporting standards, particularly IFRS.
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in alternative investment financial reporting and be able to interpret various accounting/reporting standards.
Aptitude for collaborating with external service providers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Proactive and detail-oriented with a track record of independent work.
Proven contribution to process, systems, and/or control improvements within the financial services industry.
Effective communicator with a strong collaborative approach for an international environment.
Attention to detail, with an entrepreneurial, proactive, and solution-driven mindset.
Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in German is preferred, while additional language skills are a plus.
Legal authorization to work in Switzerland.
