Your mission and contribution
We are looking for an Investment Accountant to strengthen our client’s Finance team.
As part of your responsibilities, you will:
* Contribute to the day-to-day accounting tasks related to investment structures, ensuring seamless alignment with financial systems and accurate transaction records
* Manage invoice and payment processing, ensuring all expenses and payments are accurately recorded in the financial records
* Participate in the preparation of annual operating budgets for investment vehicles
* Assist in drafting quarterly management reports and annual financial statements in line with Swiss GAAP and IFRS standards
* Support the audit process and coordinate documentation for tax declarations
* Help ensure timely and accurate submission of various tax documents, including corporate tax returns, withholding tax reimbursements, stamp duty declarations, and other required filings
* Take part in strengthening internal accounting procedures and supporting process enhancements
* Collaborate on both finance-related and cross-functional initiatives, as well as respond to ad hoc requests
* Act as a backup for other accounting and finance activities when required
Required expertise
* At least 4 years of hands-on experience in accounting within the asset management or broader financial services sector
* University degree in accounting, finance, or a comparable professional certification
* Solid background in working with accounting tools (preferably SAP B1), investment platforms (such as Simcorp), and advanced Excel functionalities
* Demonstrated ability to utilize digital tools to streamline finance workflows, automate recurring tasks, and boost data integrity
* Familiarity with international and Swiss accounting standards, particularly IFRS and Swiss GAAP
* Good grasp of Swiss tax matters, including corporate taxation and stamp duty regulations
* High level of precision and focus on data accuracy
* Well-organized with the capacity to manage several priorities and meet deadlines efficiently
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working across all levels of the organization
* Fluent in English, with a working knowledge of French
