Core Responsibilities:
Hands-on administration, configuration, and maintenance of Windows-based server systems
Managing local and remote IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion
Supporting and maintaining bespoke application environments for trading infrastructure, including upgrades, patches, and provisioning
Engaging in vendor management and collaboration with internal business teams
Providing 3rd-line support and occasionally handling escalations from 1st and 2nd level support
Supporting IT operations beyond standard business hours, including some weekends
Occasional travel to remote office locations as required
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar IT system administration role.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; equivalent certifications and experience will also be considered.
Proficiency in Windows Server Administration (Windows 2016 and above); experience with Windows Core is beneficial.
Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter (version 7.0 and above), including upgrade cycles.
Strong knowledge of Veeam backup technologies for enterprise environments.
Expertise in Active Directory Domain Services administration, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
Experience with SQL Server administration, including installation and configuration.
Familiarity with Centreon Monitoring Platform for system performance tracking.
Experience in Exchange Server Administration (Exchange 2016 and above), including mailbox management, retention policies, message troubleshooting, and SMTP relay settings.
Strong understanding of NetApp storage solutions (FAS and E-Series), including NFS and CIFS protocols.
Experience managing Microsoft patch cycles and deploying patches using SCCM.
Good working knowledge of SCCM for system and application management.
Understanding of global networking topology, including DMZ, load balancing, firewalls, and VLANs.
Proficiency in datacenter operations, including racking hardware, patching, and configuring HPE iLO.
Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including Azure AD.
Additional experience in Citrix XenApp & Desktop 7.x, NetScaler ADC, Citrix Studio/Director, and Citrix DaaS is a plus.
Familiarity with automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Power BI is beneficial.
Knowledge of Nutanix is a plus.
