We are seeking a Key Account Manager proficient in strategic and scientific partnerships in theamyloidosis field.

What you'll do...
In this role, you will be responsible for all commercial, customer-related activities aimed at building and maintaining strategic partnerships with key accounts in the field of transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR). This means identifying, planning, and implementing cross-functional solutions to sophisticated business challenges and opportunities. You will coordinate the activities with and for the key Accounts within and across a cross-functional team, integrating input from Marketing, Medical, Market Access and Sales Force Leadership.
The role requires a dynamic and strategic approach to customer engagement, a deep and differentiated understanding of our national experts, identification of account needs and co-create solutions that ultimately improve the lives of patients. As the successful candidate, you will be instrumental in encouraging meaningful collaborations and championing a trusting relationship between AstraZeneca and external experts that will ultimately craft our strategic direction and cope with the increasingly complex institutional decision processes.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Account management
1. Acquire and demonstrate a detailed understanding of key customer needs to provide tailored approaches, develop strategy and concise account plans with clear objectives and activities that meet the customer's needs and drive organisational goals.
2. Develop and maintain effective relationships within the accounts, by establishing partnerships and alliances with all relevant partners to develop a current and future environment that positions AstraZeneca as a trusted and preferred partner.
3. Identify barriers and implement solutions with external partners to overcome treatment obstacles and improve patient outcomes, thus bringing value for accounts, treating physicians and patients.
4. Strategically analyse opportunities within an account to combine potential with a focus on execution.
Marketing Responsibilities
5. Capture and analyse account needs to find opportunities which, through close collaboration with the brand team, lead to the development of suitable solutions and information materials that align with brand objectives.
6. Develop ideas in co-operation with customers and implement customer facing projects that add-value to patient care and improve treatment pathways.
7. Implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives within accounts.
8. Regularly track the execution and impact of activities and performance of Key Accounts.
9. Management, attendance, and coordination of assigned congresses.
10. Work in close co-operation with the cross-functional team to support therapy area business objectives and facilitate account centred planning and implementation of tactics.
Crucial Skills/Experience:
11. Proven pharma sales and/or marketing experience.
12. Proven Patient Centricity in keeping the patient at the forefront of every interaction.
13. Prior therapy area experience desired (neurology, cardiology, amyloidosis).
14. Good strategic and analytical skills (strategic account management).
15. Degree in business or science
16. Strong project management skills.
17. Experience with different commercial and digital channels.
18. Gaining access via multiple selling channels.
19. Excellent collaboration and partnership capabilities.
20. Excellent communication skills.
21. Open mentality and using innovative ways to support business growth ( virtual interactions, usage of all digital channels).
22. Ready to move outside of the comfort zone by proactively seeking coaching and feedback from others.
23. Good knowledge in market ethical rules.
24. Proficiency in English and German. Knowledge of French will be a plus.
