Job Title: IT Support Engineer (Finance Sector)
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team in Geneva. The ideal candidate will provide first and second-level technical support to users, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first and second-level IT support to users, resolving technical issues promptly
* Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including server management, SCCM, virtual machines, and Active Directory
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
* Support and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory
* Provide VIP support to executive team members, ensuring high levels of service and responsiveness
* Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure consistent and reliable IT services across all locations
* Document and maintain IT support procedures and knowledge base articles
* Assist in IT projects and initiatives as required
Requirements:
* Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus
* Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably within the financial sector (banking, trading, insurance, financial services)
* Strong knowledge of system administration, including server management, SCCM, virtual machines, and Active Directory
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to provide high-quality VIP support and handle sensitive information with discretion
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus
