We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team, responsible for overseeing the operations of critical applications, you will be leading the Global IT Custody team and Quality Assurance. This pivotal role involves managing operations in a large IT environment, defining and implementing testing strategies, and setting quality standards for new projects and ongoing change requests. The position offers a hybrid work model at our Olten office in Switzerland.
What You Will Do
Coordinate diverse activities, including version updates and resolving system vulnerabilities within the IT Custody domain
Manage security and compliance to internal standards
Schedule and execute operational processes to optimize efficiency and monitor application performance to ensure SLA compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and information flow
Implement releases and version upgrades based on SIX DevOps best practices, including CI/CD
Utilize a range of distributed platform technologies, including Linux RHLE, COBOL/DB2, Apache Tomcat, Microfocus Enterprise server, Splunk, BMC Patrol, JIRA, GITLAB, Ansible, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Relevant years of experience managing operations teams in a complex technology-driven environment
proven experience in managing both project and change-related QA efforts, including defect management and progress tracking.
strong expertise in the Securities domain, specifically in Custody applications, with a solid understanding of business requirements and quality standards
skilled in leading and managing both onsite and offshore testers, providing direction and support to meet development and project quality goals
strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in German or Spanish as a plus
