Our client is expanding its sales team and seeking a Director of Fundraising in Switzerland to support the capital raise for their latest €1 billion fund. The firm specializes in alternative investments, with a strong emphasis on real estate.
Role Overview:
This position plays a crucial role in securing capital from institutional investors, family offices, and other key LPs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising and experience raising institutional-level commitments for illiquid alternative assets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive fundraising efforts, engaging with institutional investors, family offices, and other capital partners.
2. Collaborate with senior leadership to refine investor messaging and fundraising strategies.
3. Cultivate and expand relationships with existing and new investors.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: 10+ years in fundraising, ideally in private equity, venture capital, or alternative assets.
Proven ability to secure capital for first-time or emerging funds, with a strong ability to present a compelling investment thesis.
Demonstrated success in raising funds from institutional investors and family offices, particularly across Europe and the UK.
