Reporting to the Head of Tax and Treasury, your main responsibility will be to support the company’s financial health by managing cash flow, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring efficient treasury operations.
You will provide expert advice on cash management, funding strategies, and risk mitigation to support strategic and operational financial decisions. Below are some activities:
You will oversee cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds are available for business operations.
You will identify and manage financial risks, including liquidity and interest rates. You will monitor and analyze currency market trends and share information with management.
You will develop and implement strategies to manage FX risk, including hedging and other financial instruments.
You will prepare and present financial reports related to FX activities to senior management and stakeholders, oversee investment activities, and make informed returns on their performances.
You will create comprehensive and compelling investment proposals that align with the organization's financial goals, risk tolerance, and cash flows.
You will ensure KYC documents are filled correctly, ensure collection and submission, and maintain accurate records and documentation to demonstrate compliance during audits and reviews.
You will implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets, ensure accurate financial reporting, and comply with regulatory requirements. You will stay updated on the latest Swiss financial regulations.
You will provide regular updates to management and other stakeholders on the organization's financial status and coordinate with other departments, such as accounting and procurement, to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications Master’s degree in economics, finance, or accounting.
8-10 years of direct experience in treasury functions and treasury-related project management, including cash management, risk management, and investment management.
Familiarity with treasury management systems (TMS) design and implementation.
Deep understanding of cash management processes, including liquidity management, cash forecasting, and payment processing.
Experience in managing financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and credit risks.
Experience in preparing for and managing internal and external audits, as well as regulatory reporting.
Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Ability to rapidly acquire a deep understanding of the organization’s culture and processes.
Fluent in French and English.
