Job Description:
Your Responsibilities
* Plan and implement offshoring projects in collaboration with the strategic purchasing department;
* Monitor the implementation of the offshoring projects to achieve objectives and ensure timely execution;
* Analyse and evaluate critical supply chains;
* Develop new suppliers within the global sourcing strategy (BCC Best Cost Country Sourcing);
* Follow up and process actions taken due to audit deviations;
* Serve as the key contact for supplier selection, validation, and evaluation;
* Build strategic suppliers and ensure delivery capability in terms of quality and time;
* Analyze errors and initiate corrective actions.
Your Profile
* Successful background in mechanical engineering, aeronautics, aerospace, business engineering in machine building, or a similar qualification;
* Several years of professional experience as a project manager and knowledge of auditing (audit training VDA 6.3). Audit knowledge of APQP and its components (FMEA, MSA, PAPP, ...) is required;
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office;
* Perfect command of the English language and good knowledge of German and/or French;
* Characterized by analytical and solution-oriented thinking, initiative, assertiveness, and willingness to travel for work.
