About the Role
We are seeking a senior Financial Planner & Business Partner to join our Financial Planning, Performance & Partnering (FPP) function.
This role will report directly to the Head of FPP and play an important part in developing and implementing best-in-class processes and systems for the FPP function.
Main Responsibilities
1. Partner with Forum Centres and functions to develop comprehensive financial strategies and plans aligned with our objectives.
2. Contribute to redesigning financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to enhance agility, responsiveness, and alignment with dynamic business needs.
3. Review existing planning and forecasting tools, develop, and implement a systems strategy.
4. Contribute to monthly Managing Board reports, regular Audit & Risk Committee reports, and Board of Trustees reports.
5. Develop robust working relationships with key stakeholders across Forum Centres and functions.
6. Promote process excellence, continuous improvement, and a robust control culture.
7. Encourage the use of financial technologies and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements and Experience
1. Degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
2. Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
3. 10+ years of professional experience in financial planning, performance, and business partnering.
4. Outstanding strategic thinking and practical problem-solving abilities.
5. Demonstrated track record in leading process transformation initiatives.
6. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient presentation skills.
8. Strong controls mindset and behaviors.
9. High level proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
