Key Summary:
We are seeking a Communications Officer to join our team in Fribourg, Switzerland. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Comms & PR and be responsible for developing, writing, and editing communications materials.
Job Description
This is a 100% onsite role requiring the candidate to be based in Fribourg.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and Edit Communications Materials: Create press releases, blog posts, and social media content that accurately represents the brand.
* Promote Communications Materials: Share communications through relevant social channels to maximize reach and engagement.
* Analyze Campaign Performance: Track analytics and create reports detailing campaign successes and areas for improvement.
* Align Communications with Brand Standards: Ensure all marketing material adheres to the company's established branding guidelines.
* Collaborate on Communications Strategies: Work with the communications team to conceptualize and implement campaigns that align with business objectives.
* Manage Media Inquiries: Respond to media requests and perform outreach to secure brand placements in publications.
* Crisis Management: Develop protocols to manage communication crises as they arise.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a communications or marketing role.
* Familiarity with best practices across main social media channels.
* Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and accurate content.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Superior time management skills, with the capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Understanding of communications, public relations, and marketing best practices.
* The ability to think strategically and identify opportunities to improve communication efforts.
* A resourceful and proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative even when given minimal direction.
* Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
