The responsibilities of this position will be to support the growth of the service sales efforts as the first level of Engineering Support within the Services Europe.
For this specific role, we are searching for someone to support Service Sales during the RFQ stage for technical clarifications and feasibility studies for complex LES and SP offers for Key sites.
This role is also the link between Customer Service and the Engineering Department for all matters where the engineering is involved in a service order.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Definition and training of technical scope of Sales representatives
2. CS Sales Support in terms of:
1. Feasibility studies at pre-sales stage and checks with R&D/Engineering (obsolescence)
2. Analyze of IB (key sites) with list of systems/parts to replace as per maintenance plan or LES project.
3. Technical special solutions engineered to client's requirements (modifications incl. all mechanical details etc.)
4. Creation of Masterplans for longtime planning of maintenance activities per site/customer.
5. Creation of special SPIR list (only form, not content)
6. Support for battery calculations and rack layouts.
3. Follow up and check that Drawings, BOM and operation manuals updates are done. Define processes when required.
4. Clarification of all highly technical questions arising from sales force/clients.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED
* Electrical Engineer (Bachelor level)
* 2-5 years of experience with Gutor (R&D development, technical support, or project engineering) in the ETO business (preferably in the industrial UPS industry)
* Very good electrical knowledge (power electronics, distributions) down to component level
* Being able to independently research for a technical solution to implement a modification.
* Being able to evaluate, justify and confirm a technical solution.
* Good knowledge of the current basic office programs. Specifically, Excel knowledge
* Ability to quickly understand new software (being able to quickly adjust to all Software being used by Customer Service: Outlook, CX, SAP, Innosoft etc.)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (company language)
* Result oriented person that has strong problem solving, influencing and conflict resolution skills.
* A global sense (different cultures)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
* Any knowledge about databases (build up, maintenance, SQL etc.)
* Any knowledge about Webtools
