Conduct in-depth/complex data analysis and problem-solving.
Understand the end-to-end architecture for each project and comprehend the impact of the in-scope changes.
Document detailed business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and process improvement alternatives.
Establish test plans, conditions, and scripts for system releases, and manage and/or execute functional testing and user acceptance testing.
Execute tasks in a timely manner according to a defined project work plan/project schedule.
Manage issues/challenges on projects with timely communication of concerns and suggestions for resolution.
Effectively research various process and/or technology alternatives.
Utilize knowledge of operations and technology to automate processes as necessary.
Perform root cause analysis of issues related to data or business requirements. Follow through on issues and open products with various business partners globally, develop solutions, propose answers, and facilitate agreement.
You Offer
Education and Professional Skills
University Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related technical field.
Focus in finance or accounting (financial and regulatory reporting).
Work Experience
Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in the Financial Services industry (especially in a Business Analysis capacity).
Strong evidence of process and process improvement initiatives.
Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge
Ability to perform in-depth/advanced data analysis tasks (problem-solving).
Proven track record in delivering complex projects, particularly in an investment bank or similar financial services institution.
Ability to work independently and proactively seek opportunities for process and method improvement to assess/enhance business processes.
Excellent knowledge of financial products, service functions, and front-to-back lifecycles, including subledger and ledger postings.
Able to perform in a fast-paced, time-constrained environment (multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously with concrete delivery dates).
Exceptional team player (demonstrates enthusiasm, confidence, and commitment).
Strong communication skills (including verbal and written abilities to capture and accurately represent line user requirements and communicate them to IT users).
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Visio, and understanding of relational database structures.
