DuraMon is an ETH spin-off founded in August 2021. DuraMon’s solution consists of a set of wireless multifunctional sensors (IoT) that are embedded in concrete structures and monitor simultaneously all relevant parameters related to corrosion (the main degradation process in concrete). DuraMon’s analysis of the sensors’ data provides reliable corrosion diagnosis and forecast, together with a recommendation on where and when actions should be taken (e.g., further in-depth analysis needed, repair urgency, etc.). Our field applications are currently based on monitoring the quality/durability of the repair performed on concrete parking garages and the provision of continuous data for the creation of digital twins of existing concrete bridges.
As the next step, we want to expand our application range and customer portfolio to successfully move to product-market fit. In order to achieve this, we are looking for a salesperson.
Tasks Definition of strategies for capturing different customer segments
Identification and understanding of decision-making processes of asset owners/operators at different levels (e.g., cantonal, municipal, federal) in the DACH region
Identification and acquisition of new customers
Monitoring of key project opportunities
Management of customer relationships
Support in marketing activities
Requirements Bachelor or master’s degree in Civil Engineering
More than 2 years’ experience as a consulting engineer or team leader in the construction sector
Fluent in German and English
20% employment in 2022, an increase can be discussed in 2023.
Possibility to receive a salary bonus per project acquired
