The Product Engineer will take part in the day-to-day tasks of the Technical Office team, helping to reach the goals in product development, product modification, and project coordination. Ensure all the new products are properly opened, validated, and have Finance information. Create the best technical solution for the customer, ensuring minimal cost and fast management of the different RFQs.
THE ROLE
As a Product Engineer, you will:
* Prepare designs and drawings of components and finished products for manufacturing.
* Manage the new product code opening process with other departments.
* Define and design new products to meet customer requests and market needs.
* Promote the cooperation between all departments to release new and current products in the shortest time possible.
* Check the product and production feasibility according to internal procedures.
* Define and prepare product's technical documentation such as specifications, procedures, and data sheets.
* Manage and control the internal and external distribution of technical documentation.
* Implement engineering change control (issuance of documentation and activation in the ERP).
* Process customer requests through tasks using internal software.
* Participate in projects for the development and industrialization of new references.
* Define and coordinate samples preparation and follow up.
* Define and follow up product validations.
* And any other duties applicable to the incumbent’s job responsibility.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CANDIDATE WITH:
* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical engineering, or related field. A master’s degree in engineering/product design can be a plus.
* Experience 2/3 years of industry-specific product experience is desired. Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control protocols. Knowledge of Valves will be a plus.
* Experience with CAD (preferably Inventor) and the basics of GD&T is required.
* 3D design software, such as Inventor, Solidworks, or others, including CAE simulation, Office 365, and project management tools. Familiarity with GD&T and APQP, PPAP/FMEA/SPC/MSA tools is a plus.
* Fluent English is a must; other European languages are a plus.
* Analytical thinking, development, and problem-solving skills are crucial to succeed in this role. Other skills like communication, attention to detail, organization, and data ability will help you achieve outstanding performance.

Flexible time (7:30/9:15 to 16:30/18:30), short days on Friday and August (7:30/8:15 to 13:30/14:15).
