Client Overview
The client is the asset management department of an international bank located in Zurich. We are seeking an auditor (m/f/d) with experience in fund management for this position.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver risk-based audits for Private Market funds, including Operations, Fund Accounting, Treasury, Compliance, etc.
* Advise line managers on audit planning, conduct, or supervise investment product or functional audits addressing key risks.
* Lead special projects, such as developing data science in the audit function.
* Make recommendations to improve efficiency and quality in the company's processes and internal control system.
* Monitor audit recommendations until suggested optimizations are implemented.
* Prepare audit reports and present findings to the Head of Internal Audit.
* Collaborate in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of audits.
* Cooperate in the improvement of the audit methodology.
* Foster cross-departmental cooperation and manage stakeholder relationships across the 1st and 2nd lines of defense.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
* A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Audit, or Business Administration.
* Professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CIA.
* Knowledge of the fund industry as an internal or external auditor in asset management and its investment products.
* Familiarity with financial or process audits and data analysis tools.
* A strong analytical personality with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to write concise reports and work independently.
* Flexibility, open-mindedness, and IT flair, along with knowledge of MS Office.
* Proficiency in English and German languages.
