Missions
The Account Manager (AM) Trainee is part of the Global Commodity Finance/GCF Energy team in Geneva (CH). Under the supervision of a Senior AM, he participates in the maintenance of client relationships with energy commodity traders, by originating transactions and monitoring the related risks (credit, market, operational, compliance, fraud).
Thanks to his direct and daily contacts with customers, the AM Trainee contributes to enhancing the client relationship, developing market intelligence, detecting risks, and identifying new business opportunities.
Specific Job-Related Activities
* Originates international commodity trading operations to be financed in the frame of customers’ commodity finance facilities;
* Presents transactional business opportunities to the appropriate committees and ensures their compliance with authorized lines;
* Monitors the evolution of transactional risk in the context of financed operations and the management of customers' economic positions;
* Ensures that the bank's security interests in financed transactions are properly accounted for;
* Participates in the preparation of credit reviews of GCF facilities along with Relationship Managers (RMs), in line with the customer's uses and needs;
* Ensures a high quality of customer service;
* Participates in the collection of market information concerning GCF customers and shares it with colleagues and internal stakeholders;
* Be proactive in updating information on vessel tracking and verification, inventory status, price risk monitoring, and hedging, where applicable;
* Coordinates documentary credits between the customer and the Bank's various departments;
* Knows and complies with internal procedures, directives, and regulations;
* Carries out all controls inherent to its business activity;
* Identifies compliance/sanctions risk and reports them.
Qualifications
Education: Master's degree or equivalent
Experience: 0 - 2 years

Languages
