About the Job
The WIPO Domain Name Fellowship Program is a unique opportunity for law graduates to gain experience in Internet dispute and trademark law. The program will enable fellows to contribute to the work of WIPO while broadening their professional knowledge and experience.
This roster will be accepting applications until the end of August 2024, and will serve to ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates for Domain Name Fellowship (Legal Case Manager) positions within the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.
Job Description
As a Legal Case Manager, you will provide support in the administration of domain name cases across a range of languages. Your responsibilities will include:
* Contributing to the administration of domain name cases
* Translation of domain name case working documents and web resources as required
* Updating data in the domain name Case Management System
* Undertaking research projects as needed
* Carrying out other activities as required in the Center's areas of work
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A degree in law
* At least 6 months of relevant work experience in a law firm and/or legal department or enforcement agency, including experience in intellectual property law or alternative dispute resolution
* Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English
* Good knowledge of another UN official language and/or language relevant to WIPO domain name proceedings

Additional Information
The fellowship may be granted for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension. A stipend of CHF 5,000 monthly will be provided, along with travel expenses and medical insurance coverage.
