A family with two teens (14 and 16) is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy housekeeper with a driving license to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in our home. The ideal candidate will be experienced in domestic cleaning, attentive to detail, and able to manage tasks efficiently.
Location: Lugano, Ticino.
Job Type: Full-time/Live-out/ long-term
Working Hours: 5 days a week, 40h/week - 8h/day, Monday to Sunday, flexible schedule

Additional information:
* The family lives in a villa, around 700 mq. The property also includes a park and a guest house.
* The housekeeper may work alone or as part of a team with a house manager and a housekeeper couple.
* The family has four dogs (two labrador puppies and two adult small-size dogs).
Responsibilities:
* Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
* Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
* Maintain the kitchen, including cleaning countertops and appliances, and washing dishes if necessary.
* Change and launder bed linens and towels.
* Iron clothes and other fabrics as needed.
* Organize and declutter rooms as requested.
* Handle special cleaning tasks such as windows, oven, and fridge cleaning on a scheduled basis.
* Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report when items need restocking.
* Ability to cook simple homemade recipes.
* Run errands as requested (e.g. grocery shopping, taking clothes to the dry cleaner, taking shoes to the cobbler, etc.).
* Respect household rules and privacy.
* Part of the responsibilities will be taking care of the dogs.
Requirements:
* Eligibility to work in Switzerland: EU/Swiss passport or Swiss permit.
* Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role with high-end service expertise.
* Written letters of recommendation or job certificates that can be validated.
* Knowledge of cleaning materials, products, and techniques.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring every aspect of service meets the highest standards.
* Attention to detail and organizational skills; proactively identifies and fulfills the needs of clients before being asked.
* Flexibility to accommodate additional tasks or changes in schedule.
* Trustworthiness and discretion in handling personal and confidential matters.
* Excellent communication skills - listens actively and communicates effectively with property owners and team members.
* Driver's license.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
* Pet friendly.
