We are looking for a highly analytical and results-driven Business Controller to oversee financial planning, controlling, and reporting across key business areas, with a main focus on OpEx (incl. personnel costs), production costs, inventory, and investments.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure planning, control, and reporting of OpEx, personnel costs, production costs, inventory, investments.
* Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and provide insights on budget deviations with recommendations for optimization.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
* Analyze production performance (machine hourly rates definition, verifying accuracy of production orders costing, etc.).
* Identify business critical related processes and propose process optimizations.
* Contribute to Board of Managers / Directors documentation preparation and support strategic decision-making.
* Participate in financial and cross-functional projects, driving process improvements and business optimization initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in a financial controlling or business controlling role (experience in an industrial manufacturing company is a plus).
* Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
* Strong process-oriented approach.
* Experience in cost accounting, production controlling, and inventory management is a strong plus.
* Excellent Excel skills mandatory; experience with financial analysis tools (e.g., Tagetik, Power BI, SQL) is a plus.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 knowledge is a plus).
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
* Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to make informed decisions that align with organizational strategy.
* Fluency in German and English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
