As an Account Manager at Roche Sequencing Solutions, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing the sequencing landscape. You will collaborate with a dynamic team and drive our innovative products to market success.
The Opportunity
Key responsibilities include:
1. Identifying and Cultivating Leads: Discover sales opportunities, cultivate new business relationships, and engage key decision-makers in the sequencing community.
2. Implementing Growth Plans: Develop and monitor regional commercial growth plans, focusing on key success metrics to achieve revenue and strategic goals.
3. Optimizing Sales Opportunities: Lead sales opportunities optimally through Salesforce/CRM.
4. Presenting and Consulting: Conduct product presentations and consultative discussions to showcase the value of our sequencing solutions.
5. Driving Technical Sales: Provide technical expertise throughout the sales process, including application consultations and data analysis support.
6. Enhancing Brand Visibility: Represent Roche at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to establish thought leadership and engage potential customers.
7. Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, product management, service, and support teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and customer needs.
8. Regional Execution: Partner with subregional teams across Europe to develop and implement strategic plans for successful market penetration.
Your Background
You possess:
1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Business, or a related field.
2. Sales Experience: Proven experience in selling capital equipment within the diagnostics/life sciences industry.
3. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Next Generation Sequencing and related genomic techniques.
4. Strategic and Negotiation Skills: Proven excellence in negotiation, strategic planning, and organizational abilities.
5. Consultative Selling: Ability to identify technical needs and provide business solutions.
6. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Strong business acumen and drive to navigate complex sales processes.
7. Communication Skills: Ability to deliver impactful group presentations and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
8. Travel Requirements: Willingness to undertake national and international travel.
9. Language Skills: Fluent in English. Knowledge of German and/or other European languages is an advantage.
