In this role you will be responsible for the following activities:
* Lead and develop Cost- and Value Management organization
* Design processes and tools for cost analytics, cost tracking, and project tracking
* Drive cost- and value analysis initiatives, organize and moderate related team meetings and workshops
* Execute target costing within product development and series
* Support sourcing and segment strategies for GSMs (global segments) and GSDs (divisional segments)
* Support Design-to-Cost and specification optimization initiatives and projects within the SCM and Engineering organization
* Execution of identified cost saving potentials together with suppliers
* Planning and execution of cost-down activities and initiatives globally
* Own and administrate the should costing IT tools
* General interface to the Group Product Controlling
* Being a business partner for the R&D department
If you have/are:
* Master or Bachelor degree, MBA or similar education in Industrial Engineering
* Working experience in Automotive (OEM or first-tier supplier)
* Several years of experience in cost- and value management
* Experience in Costing (product and process)
* Experience in Developing cost- and value processes, organization, and team
* Working experience in Design and Product Development (Engineering) in Automotive (OEM or First tier supplier)
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* High analytical skills
* Ability to influence at all hierarchy levels
* Intercultural skills & experience
* Intercultural competence
