Job Description
We are seeking an experienced R&D Control System Architect to join our Smart Controls department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of elevator control systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Analyze system requirements and derive component-level solutions with a focus on hardware, ensuring compliance with industry standards and relevant codes while maintaining product structure.
* Define, document, and maintain the hardware architecture of elevator control systems, including master schematics.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Architects, System and Software Engineers) on HW-SW functionality and work with production, field support, installation, and maintenance experts to ensure high-quality, fit-for-purpose systems.
* Develop and integrate interfaces for subsystems, components, and controller platforms.
* Define requirements for PCBAs, assemblies, harnesses, and sub-components.
* Lead quality assurance efforts through designing FMEA, root cause analysis, and cross-functional reviews.
* Support test and field analysis, document corrective actions, and drive continuous improvements.
* Identify technology trends and initiate feasibility studies with project management.

Requirements
* Master's degree in electrical engineering or similar.
* Proven technical leadership skills.
* Extensive experience (5-7 years) with architecture design and maintenance of control systems.
* Excellent knowledge of system engineering methods (modelling, requirements engineering, interface management, analysis).
* Proven experience with production processes for electronic and electrical assemblies and procedures for installation and commissioning.
* Proficient level of English, other languages are a plus.
