The Marketing team is the engine that powers Remote's expansion. Through product marketing, performance marketing, events, communications, campaigns, and content, our team tells the world about Remote to bring in revenue and establish Remote as the international leader in global HR and remote work.
What you bring Proven experience as a Marketing Director
Solid knowledge of Brand and Communications on a global scale
Strong analytical and project management skills
Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
Strong leadership and communication skills
Creative and entrepreneurial spirit with a strong analytical mindset
Writes and speaks fluent English
It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus
Preferred Skills Fluent in multiple languages
Deep understanding of the SaaS industry and its challenges in various global markets covering multiple regions
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement brand communication strategies that align with the company’s overall marketing and business objectives
Define the brand's unique value proposition and positioning in the market
Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all platforms and communications
Set current and long-term goals for the Brand & Communication team on a global perspective
Conduct market research to understand audience perceptions and market trends
Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of brand communication efforts, adjusting strategies based on insights and feedback
Messaging and Content Creation: Create compelling and coherent brand messages that resonate with target audiences
Oversee the development of content, including press releases, website copy, social media posts, and marketing materials
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and voice
Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure internal stakeholders are aligned with the brand’s communication strategies and messaging
Develop internal communication programs to keep employees informed and engaged
Promote a consistent internal brand culture
Media Relations and Public Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers
Develop and execute public relations campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation
Handle crisis communication and manage the company’s response to negative publicity
Social Media: Oversee the company’s presence on social media platforms
Develop and implement strategies for digital marketing campaigns, including content marketing and influencer partnerships
Monitor social media and digital channels for brand mentions and engagement
Budget Management: Manage budgets for brand communication activities and campaigns
Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact and ROI
Team Management: Recruit, hire, and train in the Brand and Communications teams
Establish team goals and ensure performance aligns with these goals
Foster collaboration within the team and across customer groups

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000 to $249,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
