Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have:
* A bachelor/master’s degree in either Accounting, Audit & Management Control, Corporate Finance, Business Administration or Economics; a Swiss university degree is an asset.
* You should be in possession of a certified public accountants’ diploma or other similar diploma (Swiss CPA, DEC, ACCA, etc.).
* 4-5 years’ experience in external audit; experience in a Big Four is an asset.
* Strong experience in working with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French is a strong asset, and any additional language is considered a plus.
* Demonstrate exceptional organizational and project management skills by efficiently planning and coordinating audit engagements, optimizing resource use, and meeting strict deadlines without compromising work quality.
* Experience in managing junior and intermediate auditors, managing field work of international companies, group audits, and private client sector.
* Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate well; establish strong working relationships; maintain a positive outlook; work under pressure.
* Strong understanding of IT impacts on financial reporting and an interest in digital audit techniques and IT integration.
