Job Description
We are seeking a live-in junior nanny for a Swiss family with three children and newborn twins. The ideal candidate is kind, responsible, and enthusiastic, with experience caring for children and a passion for working in a loving household.
The role involves caring for the older children, assisting with morning and after-school routines, organising activities, and supporting the parents with light household tasks related to the children. This is a mix of sole and shared care, providing an opportunity for a junior nanny to develop confidence and skills in a dynamic family setting.
The family lives in a lakeside home near Biel/Bienne and Neuchâtel, surrounded by nature yet close to nearby towns. They offer private accommodation in a self-contained studio with a separate entrance, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. The ideal candidate should be able to drive, be a confident swimmer, and speak English or French. Working hours are flexible, starting at 30 hours per week, with potential for more hours in the future.

Strong communication skills in English or French
Experience caring for children, with the ability to plan engaging activities
Patient and creative in engaging young children
Flexible and adaptable to the family's schedule
Excellent organisational skills
Able to work collaboratively with parents when they are present at home
Up-to-date clean criminal background check
Full driving licence and ability to drive locally
Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Right to work in Switzerland (EU or Swiss passport)
Good references for recent and relevant nanny work
Childcare qualifications
