Responsibilities
1. Implementation of approval and notification procedures in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) as well as the preparation of the associated application documents.
2. Handling of official inquiries and inspections.
3. Training, information and advice to companies on environmental protection issues, in particular on matters relating to the BImSchG and associated legal and administrative provisions.
4. Preparation of annual environmental reports in accordance with legal requirements.
5. Deadline tracking and planning of emission measurements required by licensing law with corresponding documentation of the measurement results.
6. Carrying out emission measurements including sampling, analysis or sample shipment in accordance with TA-Luft and VDI guidelines.
7. Monitoring and coordination of emission measurements by external measurement institutes.
8. Creation and maintenance of environmental databases/documentation.
Requirements
1. Successfully completed bachelor's degree in the field of environmental technology or comparable technical studies, alternatively successfully completed training as an environmental technician with professional experience.
2. Professional experience in the field of environmental and permit management advantageous.
3. Excellent knowledge of recording and documenting complex processes.
4. Confident handling of MS Office and SAP as well as experience with databases.
5. Very good written and spoken German and English language skills.
6. Class B driving licence.
7. Confident, binding appearance towards internal and external customers.
8. Independent way of working in combination with initiative and ability to work in a team.
