Context:
As a Senior FINANCE Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders from the Finance and Accounting departments to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements within the FINANCE Product applications. You will leverage your deep understanding of accounting processes to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and drive business value.
More specifically, you will be responsible for reviewing, refine and qualify the existing functional specifications, and to review and propose improvements to the existing and to-be processes.
Your role :
* Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and document business requirements related to FINANCE product enhancements and initiatives.
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications to support solutions design and implementation, in alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
* Lead workshops and meetings to facilitate requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder alignment.
* Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to implement and deploy FINANCE solutions.
* Act as a subject matter expert on FINANCE capabilities and best practices, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders and product team.
* RelationShips:
o FINANCE business stakeholders – including but not limited to applications’ owners, business process owners, end users.
o FINANCE product team – product line manager, product owner, RTE, scrum master, delivery team members
o External providers and editors
o UX Design Center
Your profile :
* Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional consultant with a focus on finance and accounting processes.
* Proven track record of successful financials systems implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, and deployment.
* Advanced functional knowledge of at least 2 of the following PeopleSoft modules:
o General Ledger
o Accounts Receivable
o Lease Administration
o Project Costing
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions / UX design concepts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Fluent English proficiency is mandatory, French a big advantage.
* Experience leading workshops, meetings, and presentations to drive consensus and decision-making from a UX perspective.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions.
* Knowledge of ITIL practices and frameworks a strong asset.
* Working experience in a SAFe / Agile environment a strong asset.
